Prize - winning photo

 Describing a photo
In this picture we can see a woman in the foreground. It  is a black woman from Congo. In the background we can see some hands of other black women. They are doing plaits to the woman in the middle of the picture. The plaits are brown and long. We can see the contrast between the colors of the shirt of the woman in the foreground and the black shirt of the woman in the background.

I like this picture because I have the same hairstyle and I understand how they are doing it. We can see in the picture the eyes of the woman in the foreground. She looks tired. Having the plates done is tiring because you have to wait a lot of hours and when you finish you are exhausted.

Violence against the women

Violence against women or gender-based violence is receiving more social and institutional attention in Spain that's because:

Violence against women is a violation of human rights

Violence against women is a result of the discrimination suffered by both law and practice, and the persistence of gender inequalities

Violence against women affects and hinders progress in many areas, including poverty eradication, combating HIV / AIDS and peace and security

Violence against women and girls can be avoided. Prevention is possible and essential

Violence against women remains a global pandemic. Up to 70% of women experience violence in their lifetime.

The last week a policewoman came in our class for talk about the violence against the woman.

It is a subject that interests me a lot and more this year. The reason is that in begginning of the year in our city there was a murder. A black man that I know murdered his woman. The woman was also from Africa and she was one of the best friend of my mom. The act affected me a lot. I can't forget it because now the woman is dead and the murdered is in the prison and the 3 sons are without the father and without the mother.

10 steps to have a troubled child

A child spoiled can become in an adolescent or adult conflict. It is important to set limits and rules. I'll write seven key points that CAN make the child an unhappy teenager.

1. Give her whatever he wish, and he will grow up convinced that the world owes everything.

2. Laugh all his foolishness.

3. Collect everything he throw: and he will grow up thinking that everyone is at his service; her mother the first.

4. Don´t say that all he do is wrong: he caan grow up frustated.

5. May all his wishes satisfied: eating, drinking, fun.

6. Give all the money he want: he will grow up thinking that money have no need to work, just ask
.
7. Give he always the reason.
With this points i wanna help the fathers to put limits on his sons.

Eurovision

This Saturday May 23 it was the Eurovision final in which our representative Edurne Garcia was ranked in the place 21. What has really failed to have moved from tenth position predicted by the bookmakers, to the 21?

1. Spain never made public his stagging and that's a mistake. Of the song of the winner, Hero we knew everything from the beginning (staging and even costumes), the people have known and that's why he has earned.

2.  The content must be understandable for everyone. Amanecer, the song of Espain was interesting and   Edurne interpret the meaning of the song on stage but it wasn't  understood for  all Europe.

3. The song of the year presented by Spain, Amanecer, was not bad, but it wasn't the best. It was always the same rhythm. The staging was very good.

4. Spain did much national promotion but little for the rest of countries.

ROMEO JULIET DIFERENCES BETWEEN THE BOOK AND THE MOVIE

Question 1. SETTING:Places Where does the classical play and the new version take place? Example: Verona vs Verona Beach . Where are they? Which century?
The classical play takes place in Verona (Italy) in the XVI century. The new version take place in Verona Beach (USA) in the XX century.
Question 2.. IMAGERY: metaphors & images :
WATER (swimming pool, beach, aquarium...) and FIRE (petrol station, fights...)
Resultat d'imatges de capulets vs montagues
DAY and NIGHT, the MOON. What do they mean?
Question 3.. LANGUAGE. Which characters speak in verse and which in prose? Who is the narrator?
In the book all the characters speak in verse. In the movie most characters speak in prose. Romeo and Juliette are exceptions because they speak in verse like all characters of the book. The narrator in the book is an omniscient narrator, who's not any of the characters of the story. In the movie there isn't any narrator.

Question 5. ELEMENTS. To make the new version, basic elements have been changed. Example: swords for gun
Question 6. Other differences of the classical version and the film version.

MY FAMILY

I was born here but my parents were born in Africa, in different places. They don't have the same language.
I have 2 brothers. Two boys. I'm the only girl. My small brother have 13 years old. He's very tall and crazy. I'm always fighting with him. He always makes me crazy.
My big brother have 17 years old. I always spent time with him. He's very funny but sometimes he makes me angry too.
